Spray Schedule Information
As required by law, the Anytown Department of Public Works Mosquito Control Division has established this web site for the benefit of the public at large in order to provide advance notice of the Division's mosquito spraying activities. The spraying activities listed below ARE NOT BLANKET SPRAYS OF THE ROADS OR NEIGHBORHOODS UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED AS SUCH. These sprays are conducted at specific residences located on the below-named streets.

Mosquito Control is everyone's responsibility; please do your part by preventing mosquitoes from breeding on your property. For more information on mosquitoes & mosquito control, contact The Anytown Mosquito Control Division at (856) 453-2192.
In compliance with section 9.10 & 9.15 of the USA Pesticide Control Code (N.J.A.C. Title 7, Chapter 30), The Anytown Mosquito Control Division may be applying pesticides for the control of adult mosquito populations on an area-wide basis, as needed, throughout Anytown, during the period of May 1, 2008 through October 31, 2008.
The pesticides used will be those recommended by the USA Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES), Rutgers University, for the control of adult mosquitoes, which include: Malathion (Fyfanon®) and Resmethrin & Piperonyl Butoxide (Scourge®). Products will be applied from the ground by truck or handheld equipment and/or by aircraft, all using Low Volume or Ultra Low Volume techniques. The applications will be according to product labeling.

Upon request, the Anytown Mosquito Control Division shall provide a resident with notification at least 12 hours prior to the application, except for Quarantine and Disease Vector Control only, when conditions necessitate pesticide applications sooner than that time.
