My garbage can is broken/missing. How can I get it fixed/replaced?

A container is repaired if possible. If not it is replaced. If a container is missing the homeowner is given the number assigned to their home. They are asked to look for the can. Our crews also look for the container and deliver a replacement for use until the missing can is located.

If the container is not located by the closing of the tax records, the homeowner is charged $70 on the next property tax notice. If the container is located at any time, the account is credited the $70 charge.

Call the Sanitation Department to report a broken or missing can at 111-222-3333.
